About Greta
I'm a geospatial professional with over 11 years of experience in energy infrastructure, specializing in renewables (wind, solar, BESS), transmission, water, transportation, environmental permitting, and cultural resources.
My career path has given me a unique perspective on how spatial data drives project success. I started at DMS Natural Resources providing GIS for water rights permitting, then moved to SWCA Environmental Consultants where I managed environmental and cultural data for large-scale wind and transmission projects. Then, for five and a half years, I worked at Ulteig Engineers, where I led spatial data programs for some of the largest and most complex infrastructure projects in the U.S., including multi-gigawatt renewable energy developments and major transportation and water infrastructure projects. From early-stage siting through construction, I've managed spatial data across every phase of the project lifecycle.
In my work, I quickly learned that the difference between projects that stay on schedule and those that don't often comes down to whether someone is thinking about data management from day one - not just making maps, but designing how information flows between stakeholders, phases, and systems.
I started Locale because I saw companies struggling to get this kind of strategic GIS expertise when they needed it most. Whether you're starting a complex project and need a data strategy up front, scaling your portfolio and need standardized approaches, or dealing with data chaos mid-project - I bring the experience and long-term thinking to get you where you need to be.
I'm passionate about spatial data's impact on the future of our energy landscape and how we can build infrastructure better, faster, and more cost-effectively with the right investments in technology and planning.
I can’t wait to hear about your projects and how spatial data drives you and your team!
